I found the pattern for these last week and just had to make a bunch of them!  I would love to give my readers the pattern for free but it belongs to one of my fellow Etsy shop owners.  If you want to make them yourself, you can purchase  Greta Tulner’s pattern  here.

I’m going to make more.  If you would rather buy them already made, they can be purchased  here and here; or maybe these will give you an idea for your own Valentine craftiness.

Happy crocheting!

I went shopping the other day to pick up one thing and, as usual, had to check out the craft section.  So many things were calling my name but an unpainted birdhouse won out.  I never painted one before and just thought I’d try and see what I could do.  Well, it’s on its way to something, not sure yet how it will turn out.  I’d love to see any pics of your birdhouses! One of my favorite blogs is Attic24.  Lucy, the very creative owner of the blog, has designed some wonderful things.  One of her many tutorials I have followed is the Happy Flower Decoration.  I’ve made a few small changes (just because I never seem to want to follow a pattern exactly) and here it is.

cool-Pokemon-real-life-plushI’m always trolling the net for more creations by other artists and crafters.  I came upon this amazing Russian artist named  Santani.  They look like a version of Gremlins but I think they are cuter – don’t you?  You can see more of them here
